Crooked Creek
Covered Bridge
(Crooked Creek No. 3)

Quick Info

Name: Crooked Creek Bridge
Year: 1945
Status: Inaccessible
Condition: At Risk
Coordinates: To-do

Crooked Creek #3 is probably the most difficult covered bridge to access in the province, being located in the Caledonia Gorge protected area. The only other covered bridge which I had trouble reaching was the Nackawic Siding Bridge, but that was just because of snow buildup during the winter.

The bridge provides an excellent, private spot to go swimming with friends, or to do some rugged camping. There are campsites located in close proximity to the covered bridge, however; you must abide by the rules of the protected area (Limited/no fires, being absolutely sure to clean up after yourself).

One of the metal sheets connecting the bridge to its’ chords has disconnected on the left side, and will need to be re-attached.
